Farewell to 2023

As we approach thMuscadinee end of 2023, I find it hard to believe how swiftly time has flown by. In the midst of the global challenges we've faced, the pursuit of personal growth has been both a rewarding and demanding journey.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continuous interest and support. Your presence at my studio, shows, and workshops adds a special touch to the experience.

It was truly an honor to have been elected as the President of the Tallahassee Watercolor Society, and concurrently, appointed as a Member at Large for the Plein Air Painters of the Southeast. Serving on these vibrant and enthusiastic boards this year has been a privilege.

I was honored to be one of the invited artists to collaborate with Gadsden Arts Center at the "Week with the Arts 2023". I am thankful to all collectors who visited my studio.

Despite the demanding schedule, life drawing sessions at the studio persisted, thanks to the support of Sherry Whitney, Chris Rivera and Nancy Holland for help and everyone who continue to attend. We are all grow together and it was a delight to see the art works of our regular members at the exhibition "In Real Time" at the local 621 Gallery.

At the studio visiting artists Kristen Valle Yann and Manon Sander graciously shared their skills with us. Manon Sander will come back to a gouache workshop March 26 - 27, 2024 at my studio next year.

In LightReflecting on the year, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the recognition, I received an impressive number of prestigious awards, naming a few: Grand Prize Award, the 10th Annual Lighthouse Art Center Plein Air Festival, Best of Show Award and Best Quickdraw Award, Degallery Grant Event, Best In Show Award, Olmstead Plein Air Invitational, Second Place Award, Parrsboro Plein Air and Artist's Choice Award, Mountain Maryland Plein Air Competition & Exhibition.
