Farewell to 2022

Watching OverIn the blink of an eye the year 2022 is almost gone. It is time to reflect and mention some highlights of the passing year.

The 2022 was a complex year -- dramatic international events have changed my life, yet your encouragement and support helped me keep my attention on art and to continue to propel and grow.

Things have been busy at my Tallahassee studio. Thanks tIn Lighto Sherry Whitney, Nancy Holland, Kristen Valle Yann and Chris Rivera for running our life drawing sessions. These meetings are central for supporting our local artist community and they have tremendously helped me maintain and build skills. I am proud of our first life drawing group exhibition through January 14 - March 5, 2022 - In Real Time / Portraits and Life Studies that took place at Gadsden Arts Center & Museum in Quincy.

Looking forward, we are planning to have another group show in August 2023, at 621 Gallery in Tallahassee.

During 2022 a number of artists visited Tallahassee and shared their skills with us:

All of this would not be possible without your participation and interest.

Looking forward to 2023 let me mention what is coming up:

Please, check website for more added workshops.Santigo De Campostelo

The covid related travel restrictions are over and I was lucky to take part in many Plein air events. Please, check out my albums with works: Trento, Spain, Norway, Estonia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Wyoming, Virginia, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Texas and Florida.

Having being invited to events is a honor by itself,  but being recognized by jurors and peers with awards doubles the joy and gratitude. Mill

My last show of the year also marks the beginning of  2023 season. This is a solo show, Impressions at the Aimee Gallery, 335 West Ponce de Léon Avé, Suite B, Decatur GA  and will run till February 15, 2023. If you in that area, please check it out.

January 21, 2023 (from noon to 2:00) I’ll be analyzing your work. Register at PinesAndPalms.org (Registration will close on January 14, 2023). It will take place at the Pines & Palms Cigar Factory Art Space, 1815 E. Clay St., Thomasville GA.

I am excited to be invited to Gadsden Arts Center & Museum for a painting demo at the special luncheon on Wednesday, January 25-28, 2023.

More events, shows and paint outs are planned, and if you are interested to follow, you can check my site: Exhibitions

I am looking forward to an eventful and exciting 2023, I hope to see you often at my studio, at the shows, and at unique workshops with fabulous artists. I am looking forward to painting with you!

Happy Holidays and Best wishes in the new 2023 year!
